In March 2026, Koto opened a Singapore hub led by Mark Teal, giving the studio a local base to support brands and grow across Southeast Asia.

Koto is expanding its reach in Asia-Pacific with a new hub in Singapore, led by Growth Director APAC Mark Teal. The move brings the studio closer to one of the region’s most active business centres, while creating a stronger base for work across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
The decision reflects where growth is happening. Singapore combines a mature digital economy with a dense mix of fintech companies, venture-backed businesses, consumer brands, and regional headquarters. Many of these organisations are scaling across markets, but need brand systems that can move with them across products, cultures, and channels. That plays directly to Koto’s experience building digitally native brands and complex global identities.
The studio already has a foothold in the region through work with Coda and Riot Games, alongside global clients including Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Netflix, and WhatsApp. The Singapore hub gives Koto a more direct way to build on that experience, develop local relationships, and understand the commercial and cultural realities shaping Southeast Asia.
