Strategy

The core strategic idea, ‘Change Needs Makers,’ shaped the entire campaign. Unlike typical brand-centric anniversary work, it celebrates the dreamers and builders who make innovation possible. Rooted in Microsoft’s mission of empowerment, the campaign draws on stories of pioneering products, historic breakthroughs, and human ingenuity.

Identity

For the visual identity, we created a system that connects Microsoft’s heritage with its future. From Clippy to Copilot, iconic 3D artefacts come together to form imaginative, immersive worlds. The logo nods to the original Windows mark, while heritage-inspired backgrounds add depth and dimension. Art direction celebrates real Microsoft employees and customers, honouring their achievements across five decades of innovation.
